There are two clams shown on Great Glass:

Scroll about two-thirds down: No's. 5943 & 5960, both featuring silver inclusions but neither are attributed.

Thanks David, Yep I see them.... neither are attributed as you say.
So does that mean unattributable ? or just that Philip & Ann don't know. They are immensely knowledgable but nobady can know about all types of glass and Murano has to be one of the hardest.

Ray, I always used to think of Nason when I saw this type of glass with so much adventurine, ....especially when embedded in a dark color, which online seems to be generally attributed to Nason. But recently have noted a number of other makers in my books and online who have used this look...most recently in Pinas Fratelli Toso.

Javier any thoughts ?

Hello Peter,
Many apologies. Been out of it for a bit.... Im pretty sure we can rule out Barovier on this one. I do think the piece is Nason, but not an older piece. I'm sure Nason, like Cenedese, Venini and other companies, has re-issued some of their old designs along the way. It just has that "feel" to me. Hope that didnt confuse you more, lol.

The aventurine & tortoise combination both point at Nason.

Here is my humongous blue one, I always understood it to be Nason as well:

Both lovely bowls, I agree Nason looks right

For mine, yes G Hardy but I was hoping the 'Lido' above might give a clue as to which maker they were importing
