The meaning of UNIK for KOSTA glass
« on: July 21, 2009, 08:57:23 AM »
Could someone clarify what the term UNIK means when applied to KOSTA glass. I have a round/flat glass vase by Goran and Ann Warff. Amber glass with purple cloud and a 'splatter" of blue/purple on the front. It is marked KOSTA WARFF UNIK 1046.

Does UNIK actually means 'unique', that is a one off or is part of a specific line or range?

Many thanks for your assistance.

although there could be SEVERAL very similar pieces depending on how popular the shape/color/design was.
Not all unique pieces are worth a fortune but more fun to own than a standard piece.
