Small pair of totoiseshell vase?
« on: July 07, 2009, 02:10:44 PM »
Today i purchased this pair of small vase? or? i couldnt leave them in the charity shop for £1 my father seems to think they may be murano! they are small at 2" tall with a slightly smaller foot with a polished pontil and fair amount of wear the rim is 2 3/4" diameter. The glass is weighty for there size they are both slightly differing in height and there are air bubbles in the glass so im unsure of age and whether they are mass produced maybe or maybe salts or something else utilitarian possibly any information or speculation would be greatly received thankyou for looking :hiclp:
