PW modern (do you a have a real name  ;) ) I don't doubt that the pieces you referenced are Morretti. I was just warning you against using that site as a bible.

I agree with the similarity. The question is why would a Orrefors label be found on a piece in a thrift store if it wasn't Orrefors? Those little plastic labels are hard to remove and probably harder to re-afix.

it has a first choice sticker and SHOULD be signed. Else it would have the sticker.
A signature can be hard to see. Try spitting on the base and move you finger over, this usually reveals any signature.

similar to: http://link.marktplaats.nl/249583963

... I think these were sold at a large department store originally which makes me doubt the Orrefors origin.

Not all Orrefors is signed though. I've had two stickered but unsigned pieces. Is it possible they were a custom order for a department store or chain?

No thats very unlikely. I have been working there myself.
Second choice pieces are not signed but they have a different sticker. White background and black bird and text. Before that green background and white bird.

if i remember correctly this type had ORREFORS sandblasted at the bottom. Like the candle holders which I have blasted myself while working there.

Hello:

Sorry but I do not know about the current ownership of ORREFORS but I assure you from a historic prospective
almost all Orrefors was signed signed with Orrefors or Oplus additional information.

If not signed, we are talking about seconds at least from a historic context.

By the way, there are available many stickers from Orrefors and the application on certain pieces can not mean anything.

I can confirm that the same rules apply even today. If not signed its second choice, stolen or similar
