Pravek cut glass vase?
« on: July 08, 2009, 06:20:35 PM »
Hi,
I bought a vase that I believe is Joseph Pravek and was hoping somebody could confirm this for me. The signature is not easy to read but it could say Pravek. It stands 23.4cm high and has a diameter of 12.2cm and weighs a staggering 3.8kg. The vase 'wall' is 1.2cm thick. There are what looks like feathers cut into the glass all around with circles placed randomly on the feathers. If it is Pravek, does it have any value?
Kind Regards,
Dave

Yes, I have found simmilar in Bohemia n.p. Poděbrady catalogue from 1983.
The author name is Josef Pravec - c read as "ts" not "k".
