Uranium glass plinth - Jobling

I believe this faceted plinth is a Jobling one.  I also have an identical one in black.
I've never seen a uranium plinth before, so this is a first.  Would the accompanying bowl or vase have been uranium glass too?  Does anyone know what might have been placed on top?
TIA  ;)

Hi Anne, There is a green satin plinth which looks like yours (colour list doesn't show it as uranium though) in the Baker & Crowe book on Jobling Glass. Jobling made plinths in pink, blue, green, amber - either clear or satin, also in black, flint and jade. Jade was described as uranium moonstone glass.  The plinth in the book photo is below a 2541 bowl with a semi-naked water-carrying female figural flower block.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Hi

The plinths were made in at least 3 sizes

all were the same physical size but each had a different top to take different size bowls etc

the medium size has a small indent in the middle big enough to hold a jobling medium bowl (with or without ballerina)
the large size -like your uranium one (I think) took a large bowl (with or without the two kinds of naked figures) and/or some vases -Lampton etc -these still fitted into the top
the very large had a rim on the outside of the top -so a bowl fitted over it completely this was for the bowl with the crinoline lady

cheers

Mike
