Kosta 'Rurik' series cordial glasses by Ann & Göran Wärff
« on: August 12, 2009, 05:34:23 PM »
I recently acquired a boxed set of these small cordials, the packaging of which helpfully gives the series name and designers - 'Rurik' by Ann & Göran Wärff - but does anyone have any idea of the design year? Clearly it had to be during their 1964 - 1974 tenure at the factory.

Also, any idea of production period of the series?

Many thanks.

1964–78

I dont know the exact date of design, but this label is later, late 70's to mid 80's I think

Many thanks.  :)

Although I'm a little confused (it happens often!) - I thought the company changed its name to Kosta Boda in 1976, but this label dates to after that?

I mean that AW worked there between those years.

When these glasses were made Kosta and Boda already was one company. Dont mind the labels. They used them even after the fusion

I wonder whether they designed together after 1972 when they divorced?
