Opalescent Sommerso bowl - Maker ID Help Please
« on: August 05, 2009, 05:26:14 PM »
I have had this one for a while and I guess today is Italian day for me. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. The piece is approx 13 inches long, 6 wide, and 4 inches at the tallest edge of the rim. Age appropriate wear underneath. Flat ground and polished base. The picture colors are pretty accurate.  The first picture makes the glass look a little grainy or bubbly, and it is not....  It is translucent opalescent light greenish blue. It is a very sumptuous piece of glass.

As always TIA

Craig
I have been told that glass is my mistress......
