Help with value
« on: August 06, 2009, 04:33:47 PM »
Hello,

I have been offered this paperweight and need help with its value. I was told it is vintage but my searches have turned up nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like Ferro and Lazzarini to me. The shape is typical of Ferro eggs and so is that label.

Value is hard to assign. eBay is a good place to look and see what similar pieces are actually selling for.

Being that it is simple 'frit' design I would not pay more than £16 for it.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.
