Jindrich and Craig,

You are most helpful in this investigation. Knowing the age of this piece and knowing my wife's relatives were Austrian, I do believe this is an original production piece. Yes, there are fake reproductions on ebay, so that venue might not be the best place to sell it. Perhaps we will keep it until the economy improves or until we meet a serious collector who knows the value of an authentic crystal Ingrid sculpture.

We also inherited a bronze sculpture entitled Buste D'enfant signed by Dalou with foundry markings. This I know is authentic. Again, selling it to a collector will be a challenge as I want to sell direct and not use a gallery or art representative.

Jindrich, I would appreciate any info about the signature on my piece and if it fits the production of the early years you mentioned.

  Willie
