Monart or Vasart? Shape Y?
« on: August 16, 2009, 02:09:49 PM »
I'm totally confuddled. It's either Monart or Vasart and I think it's shape Y. And was £25 a bargain?
Thank you for any help.

I would go for Vasart, the base and the pontil mark are indicative of the Vasart style i.e no grinding to base and minimum grinding to pontil. The bowl is very similar to the code shape 029 in F Andrews Ysart Glass web site.
