Barbara Morris: Obituary
« on: August 17, 2009, 08:19:57 AM »

I hope that somewhere in the UK we are fostering a generation of new people to replace the likes of Babara Morris and Dan Klein. Barbara is another big loss.

Thank you for letting us know. Barbara was an inspirational lady and it is indeed sad news. Amazing to realise that she still occasionally appeared on the Antiques Roadshow during her eighties.

Graham and Nigel I presume you are talking about the author of Victorian Table Glass & Ornaments, 1978.   Is this the same Barbara Morris as the former owner of the wealth of wonderful A&C material sold at Salisbury by Woolley & Wallis in 2010?   Was she connected to William Morris (presumably by marriage)?
