Unusual amethyst decanter/bottle?
« on: August 19, 2009, 07:08:14 PM »
Having problems listing sorry!!
Unsual amethyst coloured decanter/bottle approx 10" tall 7" wide at its widest point and 3" at its narrowist the base has some wear and a very neatly polished pontil mark. The bottom 1/2" is clear its a very weighty item and very dark in colour. It appears it may have had a stopper as there is a very small edge/ridge on the inside of the spout. Any ideas as too a maker and if its a decanter please. :ac1:
