A good day at the boots
« on: August 23, 2009, 02:50:27 PM »
After visiting two bootsales today I was happy with my haul. It will not make me rich :24: , I will keep half of it anyway but I found what I thought was a fair mix of glass from a range of glassworks.

From left to right, back row - Whitefriars, Dartington, Riihimaki and Wedgwood
front row - Strathearn, Ittala, Ittala, don't know.

I missed out on a badly water marked Skruf vase (still half asleep), my haul may not seem great but I have not found much for a while. :)

I will start another thread about the don't know jug.

Bryn, next week you will be asking me if I can clean up your new Skruf vase by polishing the glass to remove the water staining!

The small amber Whitefriars FLC vase had some light waterstaining in it and last night I removed it, hopefully the difference is visible in these photos.
