Small 60/70s style ashtray
« on: August 24, 2009, 02:02:06 PM »
Looking for any information on my fathers ashtray (I bought it at a bootsale but he snaffled it). Quality is not great but a nice enough decorative item, central mould line is visible, facet cut and about 7cm/2.75 inches in diameter.
I imagine it is difficult to stub out a cigarette in, perhaps the idea was to leave the cigarette to burn itself out (and your house down).

Tried swapping it for a bit of Norman Stuart Clarke but the old geezer is not that senile yet. >:D ;D

Thanks, John.

I'm certain I've seen one of these up on the board before (a couple of years back) - am trying to remember who's it was so we can do a board search...
