Could it be Chance "Spider's Web"?  I don't have my book to hand, so cannot check whether any was decorated in colour.

That is coloured Spiderweb by Chance, according to David Encill's book 'Chance Expressions' the green (and yellow) colourings were the most common.  This dish could have had a lid at some point too.

Kim, you'll probably find all sorts of things in Spiderweb now you've got it identified. :)  The range was large and includes jugs, bowls, fruit sets, sugar bowls, pickle pots, and so on.  The design was possibly inspired by lighthouse optics as the makers, Chance Brothers, were famous for making those huge lighthouse lenses in the 19th century.  There's more about them in board member David Encill's book Chance Expressions (more about the book in our Books forums.)

My Mum bought me a green one of these with a lid the other day, I put in in my glass display cabinet along side some other green glass (Sowerby Pandoras jar and Walther Greta vase etc.) it seems to change colour as the light fades in the evening making it look different from the other green glass.. Been meaning to ask what it was so you have saved me the trouble,  thanks.   Cheryl

Cheryl, I assume yours isn't green glass, rather clear glass with crinkly green finish or a sprayed on matte finish
