Im a beginner but it reminds me of jan or emanuel beranek for skrodlovice glassworks but dont bet the wifes jewels just yet :ac1:

This looks certainly Czech to me. I know that a couple of people who know quite a bit about Czech glass have been busy away for a while but I would think somebody will recognise it at some point soon. One problem with researching many Czech hot worked designs is the difficulty of accessing documents relating to them and most items were not signed or marked. Also several blower-desingers worked for several factories. I think I have heard that Jan Beranek spent some time working at Chribska as well as at Skrdlovice and so it is possible (I think) to have a Chribska piece worked on by Beranek, which this could possibly be, I have a bowl from Chribska in this colourway, but I am sure more firm and specific opinions based on documents will likely be forthcoming from other members, a likely very nice Czech hot worked design vase.

I agree with bOBA that the combination of colours is more Chribska than Skrdlovice. I even wondered if it might be modern Beranek, but I'm pretty sure now it's not.

Chřibská, pattern 154/1/25 - designed 1957, Josef Hospodka, fabricated for many years up to 2005-2006.

Very simple hint: Škrdlovice Andromeda pieces are twisted in oposite direction.

More details, colour focus us to the 60ties, 70ties. Recent Chřibská production often use brighter colours.

TheGlassDept, please put to the caption always something like "Czech?" than a group of people interested in Czech glass will be able to identify your question faster, as Max has suggested. I hope I will check GMB more regularly again, after two weeks in bed with lovely spanish grip I am very keen to see more Czech glass.
