Bagley Vase & Bowl?
« on: September 07, 2009, 05:28:14 PM »
Hello

Just wondering what these two might be please.  I have trawled (very happily) through Pamela's site and the Davidson one to no avail.

Thanks in advance,
Stuart.

Dirk - how kind - fantastic.

As my wife just said, and I always think, it's a complete thrill to see these things come up on the screen.

Thanks ever so much.

Stu — Your round wibbly bowl is a Sowerby 2675 posy, part of the 2675 3-piece posy set, which came with a 6+1 matching flower block (very similar but not identical to the small Bagley 6+1 flower block) and one of two black plinths, see here.

Bernard!

Thank you very much.  I enjoyed reading the thread you directed me to also.

It's not my sort of thing, as I feel I might be losing the will with early items, so I will be putting it on ebay in due course.  I won't hold my breath though - I had one the same in amber a few weeks ago (fortunately I had guessed and listed it as Sowerby in my previous ignorance... before joining this site and finding out it could be any one of 100's of factories) and it made all of £1!   :)

Thanks again,
Stu.
