Possible Czech bowl/vase - trying to attribute
« on: September 08, 2009, 03:33:50 PM »
I'm looking for help with this interesting piece (see link below) - it has all the hallmarks to me of a deco era Kralik or Czech piece - it is cased with the underlayer having white threads running through it, and a red iridescence on the outside, giving it a rosy pink hue. No pontil mark and a flat rim. I showed this to Alfredo and he wasn't sure it was even Czech. Has anyone seen this treatment before?

Thanks!
