Soisy-sur-ecole essonne
« on: September 24, 2009, 09:13:31 PM »
I have a lovely blue swan with the label of the said above title.  However, when I research it I cannot find much to do with the school.  Can anyone tell me when they were in operation from and if they were apprentices that designed such items.  Normally I am not bothered by value but would appreciate if it all possible an indication on their products.
Thank you

That would be because there is no glass school there, it is the name of the commune. Essonne is Departement 91, Ile-de-France.Try this page:

Hi,
No problem. French words beginning with capital letters (majuscules), never carry an accent.
