Johann Umann Perfume

Perfume bottles are not really an area of interest for me but occasionally I see something that I really like. Such was the case early this summer when I saw this bottle at a local show.

With the help of some folks in the USA I found the following information:
Produce by: Johann Umann
Production Date: 1929
Decor: 5.5 perfume bottle pressed glass with stylised fish

The stopper number and bottle number match. The bottle was designed in the 1920s by Johann Umann and was featured as part of a set in his 1929 catalogue.

Mac, that is fabulous! I've seen the catalogue image but it looks so much better in reality - the catalogue really doesn't do it justice! We had another Umann piece on the board a while ago - they are fascinating designs:
