Hi,

Picked this up thinking it was a truly modern piece, maybe Ikea item and was amazed it revealed Kosta Boda number 324.

It has age related wear to the base, but I know so little about the more modern pieces.  Has anyone any info as to the approx age of the item, or the relevance of the numbers please. ( I guess it signifies the range?)

All info and assistance always appreciated, thanks Sharron

me too...!

I don't think 324 conforms with KB production numbering.

Elmwood:
Thanks Martyn,

So are we saying someone has done a bit of scribbling on the base?

You know, When I washed it I was worried about some water that had somehow got into the base of foot.  There is a tiny pinprick of a hole dead centre on the base.

What a fool am I ......

I'd have said M&S early to mid noughties, a vibro pen plus a little creative thinking!  :P
Very noughty indeed!

Agreed, although the only creative thinking was rearranging the numbers 2, 3, 4....

Sometimes the colour on these is just sprayed on and scratches off if you take a wire scouring pad to it....might be worth a go in this case.!
