Continuing the subject of what Nigel has defined as "mould blown angular" - here is one I have not been able to place anywhere. The colour is murkybrownish, the top is cut and polished. I always thought Aseda until I saw VidFletch's Amazing Aseda album http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/vidfletch2001/album?.dir=/1343&.src=ph&.tok=phz_6uDBEAhBtaaf and it wazzn't there.

Ivo, can it be a coincidence that this 'isolator' (aka 'insulator') vase looks a lot like some insulators?  It reminds me of both the CD 117 style:



and also capacitor/transformer bushings:
