Squobbly vase?
« on: October 25, 2005, 09:44:07 PM »
I'd say that this vase actually looks better than a Whitefriars knobbly vase. It even has the same feel to it.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't buy this thinking it was Whitefriars (still don't). I bought it because I fell in love with it. It was so dirty and lonely I had to clean it, make it feel better and, oh, never mind.  :)

As you can see from the base, it has an unusual scratch on the side. almost as if somebody slipped while polishing it. Or perhaps it was done after? I think somebody might have stroked it too much (not guilty).

I dare say it could just be a load of tat. Look at all them little bubbles in it, isn't that a sign of lesser quality?

I Hope the pictures work.

Any information on this vase would be much appreciated. Thank you.  :)

If the colour were lighter and the finish were better I'd say Empoli, but the finish is cheap&cheerful and the colour is very Spanish. Anyone second Spain for this one?
