Found a piece on ebay in simliar colouring to mine...

You could be right Cathy!!! I am starting think it could be Japanese as Hineri have done similiar pieces in this style. Although they have it listed as Murano. So who knows!!!  ::)

At least the piece on ebay is going for an ok amount which is good.  ;D Makes me feel a better because i paid very little for this. LOL

Here is another similar colour example out of Australia. These are either exceptional quality Japanese or Murano...
