It sold for a fiver to a French paperweight buyer who has given them very good feedback , so i for one got it wrong , no wonder they were stroppy . :-[ :-[ :-[ sorryeee

Just because someone paid £5 it does not mean it was not cracked

Someone might have bought it just to cut it in half to show the way paperweights are made.

I have two such examples of Ysart weights and people find them very interesting.

The five pounds and good feedback notwithstanding, it's still cracked.

I bought an old sulphide badge weight a while back that had a fracture in it. I knew it had a fracture and I got it anyway and left positive feedback.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.
