No need to get your coat! ;) I've seen these attributed to Davidson many many times - I guess there was a misattribution in a book or website sometime and the myth has persisted....

Andy - love the 'get my coat' line.  Believe me, a wrong guess is fabulous.  It's only by people being interested enough to have a go that keeps the ideas flowing IMHO.  I always think a guess should be stated matter-of-factly too - just for sheer comedy value!   :24: 

Steven - of course it's related to yours - spot on - the rims could not be any more the same (perhaps the vase's worst feature?  I think so).
