A strip lamp type is what you need for photos. If your vase really is uranium glass, i.e., it glows a really bright green under UV, then Webb might be a candidate

The clear piece in this thread is definitely WMF, although with an unusual mouth / top.  The yellowish piece probably is not.  The Webb attribution is good, but it could also be Pairpoint.  If pressed, I would go with Pairpoint, due to the pontil.

thanks folks..the bubbles can be felt slightly on the inside..does this mean it would have been molded rather than blown ?

I don't get this at all. Pressed? It does not come together.

I think Paul means that if he was pressed (i.e. urged/forced) to make a choice, Ivo, rather than meaning the glass was pressed.
