Hi Harvey,
nice vase, for some nice examples of similar Skrdlovice, use the search facility on this board.
Cheers

First, I've got to say: you lucky person!

The pattern number for the propellor vase is 5503/20, so this would be a propellor vase. I thought the vase was produced in a different colour (clear, tinged with amber) as shown in Ricke's  Czech Glass, p 218.

Jindrich, what colours does it come in?

Hi Harvey,

You can't advertise pieces for sale in Glass, so your post has been moved to Glass Market Place.

David,
this vase had been produced for many years in all Skrdlovice colours. The colour is not important - size +/- 2 cm also no problem. Becouse it is free hand hot shaped actually every single piece is a bit differnt from the other.

Jindrich:

So this must be the 'Atlas' vase. I guess I'm confused by the pattern numbers for the the 'Atlas' vase and the 'Propeller' vase. Ricke in Czech Glass, p. 218, gives the same pattern number for the 'Propeller' vase as Hill, p. 50, gives for the 'Atlas' vase, 5503/20. Are both books correct?

The vase in this thread looked like an 'Atlas' vase, but when Dan asked if this were a 'Propeller' vase, I checked Ricke, and, going by the pattern number, which is usually the most reliable indicator, it was a 'Propeller.' I'd guess there is a pretty significant price difference between the two.
