Nice tall Bohemian? Vase
« on: October 20, 2009, 03:44:15 PM »
I purchased this nice 10" vase at a Shepton Mallet flea market last weekend. I assumed it was Bohemian but could someone confirm (or deny) this please?
Thanks,
Bryn

my instincts would suggest more Italian than bohemian, if not it could well me manufactured in the far east.  Would say almost definitely not Bohemian though.

Lets not hear that Far East nonsense GB :o I really need to lie down now :spls:
Here are a couple more photo's, side on and base, perhaps they will jog someone's memory. I was so sure the vase was Bohemian and thought the shape was not unlike Zemek's rhapsody vase range albeit without the "horns" and the colours reminded me of some in Mark Hills Hi Sklo Lo Sklo publication.
Oh well I'll accept it as being Murano as a last resort but China, Grrrrrr!
