Hi all,

Whilst routing through my boxes of glass, I've come across this unidentified one, which we have had sometime.

Having glanced through "Fire & Sea", there are some similar pieces, (and I do use the word loosely)
on page 72. Skruf and Sea Glasbruk 1950-1960's. The applied threading is similar in style.

It has a violet hue, and the threadding appears to be a silver grey/pewter colour.

Would be nice to have some info- TIA M & S

Will do, but can't until tonight as I'm off to Uni now.  Btw, what you're calling 'applied threading' is actually kind of engraved, right?

Hi Max,

No worries, if you get chance that would be great.......

Its definately not engraved.  Its like spun sugar that has been applied over the glass giving a fine but raised and ribbed/textured feel.
