Rudolf Jurnikl Hobnail ash tray?
« on: October 25, 2009, 02:06:44 PM »
Neodymium (goes blue under a a fluorescent light) glass ash tray. 15 cm diameter. The design looks like Jurnikl's Hobnail for Rudolfova. Can't find it in Marcus's book, although there is a square ashtray. What does anyone else think please?

Looks similar but....

Jurnikl's Hobnail pattern can be felt on the underside as protrusions rather than depressions, if you see what I mean. Does the bowl's pattern in this photo look a bit more triangular?

I know what you mean. I wonder if it's a much newer variant

I suppose that this piece is not Sklo Union but recently fabricated piece from Jablonex  (ŽBS).
