Bronze retro unusual vase! ID = Pentti Sarpaneva for Kumela

Hi can anyone identify this for me please, i picked it up at the weekend! 8 1/4 tall x 3/3/4 wide.  In gilt & glass bronze is it czech?

Not Czech but Finnish. Your vase was made by Kumela. I'm sure someone will know the designer.
