Latest bits to share
« on: November 14, 2009, 10:00:17 AM »
I thought you might be interested in seeing my latest purchases - I've had my eye out for these bits for a while now, picked up LH 1421 last year but the other two were recent purchases - they don't come up for sale very often.

These are big bits of glass - the tallest is 38 cm tall.

Form left to right they are LH 1421, 1422 and 1423.
Sweden Glass catalogues shows then in black and turquoise - these are, as you can see, burgundy and powder blue.

Glorious, look great as a group. If you ever get bored of them..... ;D

Share? Does that mean I can have them on loan for a month or two? >:D

its all about the lightning, when gareth put them up like this you got to love them. Unfortunately not many can display them like that at home and therefor you can find them at good prices here in sweden. If you find them....

Thanks for the positiver feedback - have been after this trio for a while.

Re the lighting, I'm using an A2 light box with daylight strips in it (Ebay buy for a few £ but long trip home on tube !). I bought it to photograph my Ernest Gordon bits, but still experimenting.

Absolutely agree re the showing - I'm into the big bits but unfortunately they all end up in boxes - one day I live in hope.
