Keith Murray??
« on: November 24, 2009, 06:49:16 AM »
Hi. I believe this could be Keith Murray... I have seen references to Murray bubble glass on the web, but not this shape and not in any books, its not signed but seems to me to have characteristics reminiscent of Murrays work. Any ideas?

cheers

Uncanny. The original poster could buy this and get a pair!

That link is amazing; they even have an image that is reproduced in Charles Hajdamach's book "20th Century British Glass" (page 148).

Maybe they lent the collection to ACC for the book?

Shame they can't see the difference between what they're selling and the items in the photo being used to promote it.

Nigel

PS. John, There is quite a lot of accurate information and a goodly number of illustrations of Murray's work in CH's book. Certainly more of both in one place than has previously been published. N.
