Just where is Caithness?

The ID of this 'Caithness type' paperweight suggests to me that there is a suburb of Shandong called 'Caithness'. Or am I mistaken?

Ah, but the listing does state "caithness type", not just "caithness" ... so no problem there. ;D

Already before I saw Alan's note I had informed the seller ...
Quote
Hi - I am sorry to tell you that this weight is by no means a 'Caithness type' weight - it's miles from that; nothing similar has ever been produced by Caithness.
... and now got his reaction ...

dont be sorry, read the descripton, caithness like does not mean caithness.....how rude

In other words - this person is not just clueless (like many are), but is knowingly misleading his potential customers.

There is a facility on eBay to report an item, if you feel it has, for example, a misleading title. If enough people do that they remove the advert.

...and I, for one, have just made such a report.

Alan.
