Topic: Job lot joy 3 : Purple pressed glass dish and plate

The joy of job lots at auction is firstly getting the piece you bought the job lot for, secondly finding out more about unknown pieces in the lot and in the end wanting to find out more about pieces you're stuck with when trying to ID them:

Heavy pressed glass bowl and plate with scroll decoration. The bowl has a very small (1 cm.) round acid etched mark with some circular text in it, however, only half visible and indistinct.

Total height: 11 cm.
Diameter (bowl): 22 cm.
Diameter (plate): 33.5 cm.

Any thoughts ?
