Hello,

The original vase is on page 118 of "WMF Ikora & Myra Glass" and comes in three colours, blue, green and red at 17cms high.

The second vase is a WMF shape and colourway and seems to appear on various pages in the book, but I've chosen the one on page 173 pat no 8113 which comes in red, and green/blue.

Amazing what you can find in books ::) ;)

Thanks ever so much, Nigel!

I don't have access to this book, I'm afraid.

It wouldn't happen to say if WMF used silver chloride at all?

Something I could of tried early on to possibly rule out Mdina was to test the vase with a UV light.

Last night while testing a couple of other items my UV light got quite close to the WMF vase and was very surprised to see that all the blue coloured glass glows quite strongly green.

I will post a picture to add to the posting later today

No one more surprised than me finished at £568.88 , although there was a lot of interest from day one , an offer of 120 Euros including postage and a how much  do you want for it, 55 watchers I consider as quite high, I can only assume it was a rare vase or colour and something to watch out  for at fairs.

Thanks again for help in the ID of the vase
