Hi
The above is my latest acquisition, from a house clearance company.

With reference to Marcus’s book I noted that the Glassexport label stuck to it was in use during the 1950s and 1960s, yet the piece wasn’t made until the 1972.

Is this of any significance or just an aberration? Or have I got it completely wrong? Either way I thought it might be of interest to someone.

The label looks original to the piece and genuine.

I suppose that Glassexport labels have been used until the end of this trade organisation in 1991.
