The dragon doesn't have the detail of most Barovier/Salviati dragon pieces I have seen. The latticino is lovely, though. It is a beautiful goblet. I originally thought that the goblet might be a more recent piece, but the label is older. I don't know which companies used this stock label. I hope we can track it down.

I have to add that the eyes remind me of the ones used by Fratelli Toso and Salviati for many of their pieces. If no one here knows, a good person to ask about the goblet would be Sheldon Barr. His contact information is on the Gardner-Barr site at http://www.gardnerandbarr.com/.

Anita, I seem to be thinking in sinc with you today for some reason.  I saw this guy on the Fossilfly forum this morning and thought to myself FT.  I think the boldness of the colors and the eyes remind me so much of them and even the dragon design reminds me of FT.  I am glad to see we are on the same page.  I think it is a newer piece as well.  I really love the dragon on it.  His eyes really catch your attention.

**THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION AND I AM NO EXPERT BY ALL MEANS**

From the label I would guess 1940s-early 1950s. I hope we can get an expert opinion soon.

Thank you for your replies.

I've been thinking about the latticino.
From what I've seen (when I've googled) is quite often, that the pink ribbons have aventurine outlining, and I've never seen these white strands within the pink ribbons.

Is this unusual?

hopefully Alex will pop in an have a look at this,

I know the label gives it age but my 1st thought was its a repro.
then looking again is it isn't it ?, i've not seen that colour,
the quality looks high,

What ever the answer, i'd love to have myself,   :chky:
