French Trophy winged vase?
« on: December 18, 2009, 09:59:49 AM »
Good morning all.
Could anyone kindly give me some more information on this vase of which I picked up a few weeks back. I think it is French because of the grapes on the handles.  Multi faceted some with diagonal stripes.  Lots of wear on base.  Unfortunately some water damage nothing that a bit of brasso won't sort out and two piercings in the glass on one handle.  Looking for manufacturer if possible but appreciate that it could be difficult and hopefully an idea of age, I am thinking 30's but may be wrong.
Many thanks and merry christmas to all

I'm pretty sure, Bohemia. Return to you later this day when with more time than now  :)

I agree with Pamela; I'm pretty certain this is Feigl & Morawetz, Libochovice, but don't have time to check Marcus's CD at the moment :)
