Per Lutken High Life?
« on: December 28, 2009, 02:15:25 AM »
Happy New Year to all !  I bought this from ebay described as a Murano vase. Looks like Per Lutken High Life glass to me - Do you agree?  - but it is enormous. Height 11 1/4 inches or 28.5 cm. Was there a vase made in this range? or a beer glass perhaps? It is  too tall to be the wine glass designs as described in Andy McConnells 20 C glass book.

thanks. Jackie.  West Oz

"Glass is life" (page 60) shows 4 different sizes of this glass, one definitely looks big enough to be this one.

Thanks Gareth - looking at those pictures it is definitely the Beer glass, not the bud vase.  I don't have a copy of glass is life - must look for one.
Thanks again

Hej Jak

Yes, it is a beer glass, do have most of the High Life series on my website if you should need more information on Danish Glassworks in the future.
