I dont remember exactly what it went for now being 2 years ago (to many days and to many pieces of glass sold in between im afraid).
Johnphilip is a pretty good source for glass (one of the big brains  ;D) I will drop him an email and draw his attention to this thread and he can give you more details.

JP has replied on the other thread, and said yes he is sure it is Barbini, he has a gorgeous pink one on ebay right now.

I'm with Ivo in saying generic Murano (although I prefer the term non attributable Murano).  It's not that it's an inferior piece; it's more that it would be impossible from this photo to say Barbini and even difficult if you were holding it. A few companies made pieces like this. As I said, it's not to denigrate the piece, which I quite like personally. It's just I'd hate to be quoted as saying it's Barbini by someone selling it, which I think is probably a common reaction.

Thanks for the response.  Your absolutely right by saying that, it is difficult to positively identifying this piece.  Its hard to sell without a positive i.d.  Does anyone else have any ideas???   :)
