Lamps - Murano ?
« on: January 09, 2010, 06:37:53 AM »
Hi All - While I am here......    Have just noticed this on ebay - item  300384550956     http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300384550956&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT.

I have a pair of these in my spare bedroom as bedside lamps - which I seem to remember I  bought in the mid 90's secondhand. Does anyone know if  they are in fact murano?? regards JAK West Oz

I have an almost identical shaped one with its original label "Venice Glass - Handmade in Italy".

I have seen this lamp before.  I think the company is Vistosi.  People mistake them as Venini but I do believe it is Vistosi who made this one.  I have seen one with a label on it.  I hope this helps.
