7.5 ins, enamelled flowers with green aventurine inclusions and a moulded base, too general to pin down I suppose,Keith.

Keith,

Can you provide a closeup of the lip and the underside, and also of the glass itself?

Just to add,the white 'blob' in pic' 2 is not from the camera it is in the glass, same with the thin white streak in pic' 3,Keith.

My initial reaction to it is an enameled Rindskopf piece. I will check with some others and get back to you again.

Concur with Craig - I think Rindskopf is very likely on this one.

Hi Keith,

It has been suggested that it could also be Riedel, as they also did their Formosa line, a green aventurine product with red glass.  Many of their forms were fairly linear and less organic feeling, and this piece also has that feel to it.  They also did a lot of gold enameling on vases.....

I still lean a little towards Rindskopf........

Unless we find the exact shape in an easily identifiable decor, that may be as good as we will do......

I have seen this shape with a ruffled top in Rindskopf's feather pulled treatment (see Loetz.com, Rindskopf photo No. 11) - The glass in this vase looks like the cased glass that Rindskopf was doing a lot of in the mid 1920s.

I do have to say that the shape of the underside bothers me a little for Rindskopf. Even their mold blown stuff is flatter on the underside than this piece is.
