knobbly clear glass dish, maybe czech???
« on: January 21, 2010, 10:32:21 AM »
Hi all
i picked this up the other week and havent been able to ID.
It is made from clear glass with a knobbly texture (knobbles similar to some beranek peices ive had), there are 3 little clear glass with gold leaf balls on the side, just kid of attatched (they look a little odd, jon though at first they had been stuck there but the glass is shaped onto the dish)
The base is smooth and polished with the rough scar from the pontil, lots and lots of age wear (dull and consistent so i do believe it to be genuine age wear)
7cms tall, 13cms across and weighs in at a fairly weighty 910g
any ideas people ;)
michelle
