Not Whitefriars. I have seen this before but cannot remember who it is. Is Scandinavian though from rememberance!

You should get an ID soon on this. Is a beautiful piece! Have not seen this piece in that colour before though. Maybe the memory will kick in shortly!

Maybe the mods could move it to the Scandinavian section for you.

I agree - it's a lovely piece of glass.  All I can add to the discussion is that the colour is very Finnish - Nuutajarvi maybe?  Certainly Kaj Franck designed a lot of glass in this kind of dark petrol blue.

I see it is for sale listed as Whitefriars. Did you find some authentication for it after all?

They were told in the first incarnation of this thread that it is 100% not Whitefriars...

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,29920.0.html

But then they were also told in this thread that their bowl is not Keith Murray...

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,30309.0.html

Never let it be said that facts should ever get in the way of a financially-rewarding attribution.  ::)

Oops, two threads, thought it looked vaguely familiar. Obviously not getting enough vitamins....

Bad manners too, goodwill liable to diminish.
