Topic: Heavy cased glass vase Scandinavian or Murano Sommerso ?

Hi,
Can anyone help me to identify this glass vase? it is 9" in height, 4.50" to the widest point and the weight is 2Kg. To me it has a Sommerso style but the form of Scandinavian glass the base is flat and smooth with no pontil marks. Can anyone help.

Hi Fisher, yes this is a Sommerso piece. Could you please take a pic of the base and also the neck?

Is the base matte or shiny?

The base pic has me worried as per lustrousstones question? Or is it the flash reflection?

My opinion is that it is a newer Sommerso piece.
