Another beautiful paperweight in my job lot. I think it is Chinese but would welcome confirmation or correction.

I have some Chinese weights with nicely polished bases.

Still I don't think this one is Chinese. The flower looks more like a Czech weight to me.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

I too have some Chinese paperweights with nicely polished bases - I bought them a couple of weeks ago in my local supermarket, and I've left the labels on.  I can't comment on the flower - but it seems the size and colour of the glass is more typical of Chinese weights to me.  I think I'd like to handle them.
