Hello,
My Aunt gave me this bowl over 20 years ago when I was in Hungary, and I know she had it for a long tim, she never bought anything new. At the time she was in her upper 60's. She has since passed away (God rest her soul)
and I am very curious who made this. I have looked on the German pressed glass sites and other Europeon, but I have not found one like this.
This is very heavy ( close to 5 lbs.) large and Octagon shaped.Scalloped rim, sides have flowers that are etched leaves are grooved, triangles are etched with little stars and diamond pattern,Bottom base has a large etched star in the middle, grooved fans and more etching  in fans, diamond pattern, +'s, edge around the bottom is all indented, like small wide ribbed blocks.
Base is 7 1/4"
3" high
Top is 7 1/4" in diameter
2 1/2" deep
Thank You
